Last Friday we had another great square dancing night with Nelson Wakeman calling. Jama, his wife, also did great leading our line dancing. Nelson and Jama really made our square dance a fun night. “Thank You” to our Members (last name L thru O) who provided all the wonderful refreshments for the dance. Thanks to Nelson, Jama, and Members for a fun evening.
This Friday will be “Pink” Friday” for Breast Cancer Awareness Month so everyone wear “Pink”!! Gene Chamberlain will be our guest caller.

October 13th – Circle ‘8’ of Waynesboro is having their 65th Anniversary Dance with afternoon and evening dancing. Plus DBD from 2:00 to 4:30. Plus Workshop from 7:00 to 7:30. Plus dancing from 7:30 to 10:00. Caller is Johnny Preston from Alabama. Location: Kate Collins Middle School, 1625 Ivy St, in Waynesboro. Afternoon casual/square dance attire requested for evening. If we can get enough dancers interested in going to their 65th Anniversary Dance, we could go by bus. Let me know.
November 10th – Annual Symposium sponsored by the Virginia Callers at Holladay School. Morning and afternoon workshops followed by an evening of dancing.
