Tuckahoe Update 6-26-2018

Hi Tuckahoe Square Dancers,

Last Friday night was awesome with Dave and Linda Terrell singing and calling our Pink Flamingo Night Dance! Linda lead some line dancing for us as well. Everyone had lots of fun. The “pink” yummy refreshments and the décor was so festive for the National Pink Flamingo Day thanks to Lis and Allen!!  They did a great job making the evening a wonderful “in the pink dance”!! . Thanks to Dave, Linda, Lis and Allen for a fun dancing night!! .

This Friday we will be dancing with Bob Clinebell calling. It will be another fun dance. Hope to see you all Friday night.

Our “Independence Day” dance will be July 6th with Jeremy Butler. We all enjoy his calling and love his music, this time with some patriotic tunes. Everyone wear their Red, White and Blue as we celebrate Independence Day. We will also be celebrating July Birthdays and Anniversaries.

The Richmond square dance community offers this dance annually with all the proceeds going to Henrico County.  This is our way of thanking Henrico County for allowing us to use, free of charge, their schools for our dances and classes.  We are very fortunate to have this arrangement.  We thank Mike and Connie for donating their time and hope you will be able to attend this dance.  If you are unable to attend, please keep in mind that RSARDA will accept and is appreciative of your donations.  Checks should be made payable to Henrico County Dept of Recs and Parks.

Let’s “Load the Boat” with everyone square dancing and enjoying the fun.
