Tuckahoe Update 6-20-2018

Hi Tuckahoe Square Dancers,

ALOHA!!!  Last Friday our guest caller was Nelson Wakeman accompanied with his grandson, Austin, calling for our “HAWAIIAN DANCE”. Nelson called some smooth Hawaiian songs that were fun to dance to. Adding to the fun Austin called and sang with his granddad. It is definitely a square dance caller family. Diane Hollins joined us to lead our line dancing. We had our newest member, Kenny Rowe call a tip acappella which added to our dancing evening. Deby and Bill Bigdely provided our Hawaiian refreshments with a delicious pineapple cake, chocolate covered pineapples and other snacks. It was a fun island dance!  Thanks to Nelson, Austin, Diane, Kenny, Deby and Bill.
Mahalo nui loa – A hui hou kakou…..

This week we will be celebrating ”Pink Flamingo Day” and everyone is encouraged to wear pink or flamingo attire. Our guest caller will be Dave Terrell. It should be lots of fun so “THINK PINK” and come on out to enjoy the good fun, dancing, and see what Liz and Allen are doing to celebrate National Pink Flamingo Day!!!

We want to welcome our newest members to Tuckahoe Squares……
Kenneth “Kenny” Rowe and Mazie Rowe. We are so glad that you both have joined us and look forward to seeing you on Friday dance night.
